Our political system is democratic (to a degree). Our economy isn’t: Employees have remarkably little say. Similarly: customers (if there is a monopoly or an oligopoly). A goal for our future should be to make companies more democratic—e.g.: • Flat hierarchies • Worker cooperatives, consumer cooperatives, etc. • More consumer protection
