I’m watching the Phantom Menace and it’s wild how quickly it vacillates between scenes that lack basic filmmaking competency and scenes that do the sickest shit you’ve ever seen with brand new filmmaking techniques invented on the fly for this movie

There’s a fucking C-3PO pov shot in this movie. Wild. It uses a kind of shaky handheld camera during a dialogue scene which I feel like these movies never do
