Madison #KMSN took at hit lat night with all the severe thunderstorms. I dont know if it got hit directly by a tornado but the radar room is damaged and off line. Limited services are going to be provided but unlikely any VFR flight following for some time. #CFILife #FlightInstructor #PilotsOfMastodon #Flying #Aviation #AVGeek #Airplanes #generalaviation

KMSN tower is now closed as well. KMSN is an un-towered field at this time. Check NOTAMS brush up on those #KMSN #CFILife #FlightInstructor #PilotsOfMastodon #Flying #Aviation #AVGeek #Airplanes #generalaviation

Madison Tower is back up and running. So mostly normal ops I expect now. Hearing all areas (Clearance, Ground, Tower, Approach/Departure) and hearing them give flight following so that is good. #KMSN #CFILife #FlightInstructor #PilotsOfMastodon #Flying #Aviation #AVGeek #Airplanes #generalaviation

@WiredForFlight Sam do you know of a link to the story on the KMSN ATC damage? I just looked and could not find it yet. I have a good friend who is retired ATC, he'd like to see the details. Thanks.
