apparently theres veganism discourse happening
i say this as a vegan
yelling at people for not being vegan may feel righteous but it's not effective
what is effective at reducing animal harm is systemic change
make vegan food normalized and common and cheap while removing subsidies for meat and other animal products so that vegan options can become the cheap default
eliminate food deserts so that people have reasonable options other than mcdonalds
cook meals for non-vegans that are similar to their usual foods so they can see how delicious and realistic veganism can really be
accept that some people have medical situations that make veganism actually far more difficult or impossible
dont just call them monsters for not having the same privilege of circumstances and past experiences that you enjoy
being a fucking asshole doesnt help any animals. kindness and change does
