Wikipedia is not just more robust against disinformation than for-profit platforms, but also against propagandistic interventions by authoritarians.
Case in point: while Google Maps renames the "Gulf of Mexico" kowtowing to Donald Trump, Wikipedia will not do so.
The reason is Wikipedia's naming conventions (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(geographic_names)): "we also avoid arguments about what a place ought to be called, instead asking the less contentious question, what it is called."
And I think that's beautiful.
