I'm very pissed off to learn that this was covered up - I know people who wanted to work at Los Alamos and they would not have bothered if they'd known! The National Labs are one of the biggest recruiters of scientists in the US - you know people who have to deal with this shit directly, and you should take the time to poke some of your professional contacts who might have their hands in this.
