Our neighbour in the Bunyas made the mistake of exclaiming over the lack of wind of late, so nature got her own back and, after a beautiful Friday, the weekend has been very very blowy.
But I knew the forest would be more peaceful so we did the Scenic trail in the NP. We have owned a place up here for nine years and this is the *first* time I have managed to do one of the park walks (because of bad weather, bad knees, too much to do etc).
It was tough because I am so unfit, but utterly glorious.

@anathema_device It was pretty bloody blowy most of my time at Burton's Well a couple of weeks ago. The walk from BW to the top of mount K-something was easier than I thought it would be, very pretty through the grass trees, and a good view at the top. Sooo many yellow robins too. Recommended.
