Making some chocolate chip cookies today, my first from scratch. Recipe's secret ingredient is corn starch, I added some maple syrup as an experiment.

Oh god, everything went wrong. :( I used the top stove, and the rack was on the bottom, maybe the cookies got too hot?? It looks like I created the first batch of chocolate chip brittle. 😭
