It came from an exceptionally murderous mindset of centuries before Hitler was born. He just continued it. That Nazi mindset remains very strong in Europe and Diaspora. Abusing Africans financed the invasion of the Americas. Europeans gained power from genocide, not the other way around.

  • @jonesmurphy@mastodon.social @s1m0n4@ohai.social @RubenWA@social.vivaldi.net From what I gather, this mostly started because it was a better economic investment to import malaria-resistant African slaves into the New World plantations than poor European serfs who lacked malaria resistance. And then the Spanish needed to come up with a theological justification why this was morally okay, that "Curse of Ham" nonsense was developed, and everything snowballed from there.
