Explored some bike lanes in a neighbouring town.
They exist.
They even bring you within 20m of the bike parking stands of the swimming pool. … You have to continue for another 100m to the nearest crossing to get off the bike lane and onto the side walk and then go (I guess legally walk) back because there are bushes between the bike lane and the parking.
Also generally the lanes just start and end on sidewalks … 1/

And if you arrive by bike on the road from a neighbouring block, you have to use the road parallel to the bike lane for one block to switch lane at the next roundabout (I guess you'd seriously block any traffic by doing so, because you're essentially leaving the roundabout with the cars, crossing the bike lane, making a 90°turn on the bike lane, suddenly switch - for incoming cars - from passing+oncoming to crossing with priority appearing out of nowhere). Oh, did I forget to mention that … 2/
