@MattMoose@mastodon.world I played correspondence chess once, and it was a very interesting experience. When I had all the time in the world, I started to think not only about tactics, but also about strategy. "Would this move improve my bishop's position?" "Do I have more power on the white squares?" When I play rapid, I get tunnel vision, and the game feels so different.
