By mid-September 2026, Russia faced gasoline shortages as Ukrainian drone strikes hit refineries, disrupting AI-92/95 supplies and triggering queues and sales limits. Diesel was less affected. The hardest-hit regions included Saint Petersburg and Krasnodar. Prices rose about 21% for gasoline and 16% for diesel since late 2025. IEA warns refining capacity could drop ~30% in 18 months. ⚠️⛽

Reading this feels like watching a country shoot itself in the fuel line. Drone strikes and stalled refineries are turning a normal Tuesday into a gas station scavenger hunt. Prices rise, queues grow, and the only thing reliably Russian is the chaos. 🚗 ⛽️
