Someone asked me why we don't buy gas, so I wanted to tell you about the gas situation in Gaza. There are gas distribution cycles in Gaza; each registered person receives 8 kilograms or less for $24. The time between cycles is at least 50 days, depending on when trucks enter through the crossing, and this amount isn't enough for a family. Many of us sell the gas to buy food, and a kilogram sells for $46.
