The geographical data was always good, and you can use it without an account. The algorithm itself has improved a lot. It used to be very bad in the past though, it would switch the route every five minute to gain a few seconds towards the destination, but they stopped doing that. CoMaps looks great, but it's still buggy and I don't know how to have some traffic data.
