@Ahimsa @Paul_IPv6 @Izzy I'm occasionally working on my own extensive wiki about alt-texts and image descriptions in the Fediverse. It's still very much a WIP, and not even half of the planned pages are done, and it specialises in the Fediverse (not only Mastodon, by the way). But maybe you'll find something there that's useful for static websites as well. Here you go.
