For the nth time since we cleaned out the family house in Seattle a few years back, my younger sibling asked if I had this one specific Betty Crocker cookbook of Mom's. We never found it, which is kinda weird, but there you go. I went online, found a copy in decent shape and bought it. From 1961, the illustrations are etched in my memory, but I was a teen before I realized the mustaches and goatees on the housewives were hand-drawn additions from Mom. The new one won't look exactly right.
