@al3x@hachyderm.io If you’re getting timeout errors on feeds like slow blogs I and they are repeat offenders, remove them. Tapestry can only wait so long to finish refreshing and MUST time out after 60 secs. If you’re getting errors on Bluesky & mastodon something isn’t set up right or there are local problems with the instance. Also the more you manually refresh the more API limits you’ll hit which will only make things worse. Occasional manual refreshing is fine but doing it often will slow things down.

@al3x@hachyderm.io yep, putting slow blogs or feeds into their own timeline is a good idea so they don’t clog your primary timeline. We’ve made a custom home timeline that excludes the worst offenders and use that as primary reading instead of “All Feeds” works much better. Hope that helps and thanks for the kind words!
