Kathryn has a lot more to work with with seven than Jean-Luc had with Data...
It would be so interesting to have Jean-Luc and Kathryn talk about their respective experiences.
Of course this is in part a weakness of the show, redoing what TNG already did. But it's also interesting because of that. You get the perspective of two very different Captain on similar issues, and the answers don't always matches perfectly.
Done not too often, I think it's nice.

#StarTrek #StarTrekVoyager Ok now a critic: This seems to walk into memory reconstruction therapy which are bullshits and actually harmful. This is an effective narrative trope, but this unfortunately vehicle harmful conceptions of how trauma works and should be treated. (I'm watching the last Sarah Z video also, so... the two stuff kinda collide in an unexpected way.)
