i was pissed off with ordinary forum softwares because they suck to set up or require javascript to run.
so today i made plank. it is a hard (=brutalist) board.
it requires no javascript, it works in lynx, it works in links2, it works in firefox, it works on a shitty connection, it pisses off elitists, it is a single binary.
there is a public invite in the oldest thread so you can create an account if desired. the source code is linked in that thread as well.
it is also easy to moderate because it follows the unix philosophy and thus posts, invite codes, and users, are simply files on disk. this is where the “it pisses off elitists” comes from :)

@tudbut You may delete your account by changing the “/login” in your browser’s URL bar to say “/delete” and hitting enter. This will also delete all of your posts. this sounds very abusable
