I had some more custom PCBs made for the LED panel, and they actually work!
this is really cool; I've ordered PCBs before, but this is my first time doing surface mount, and my first time using the RP2040 microcontroller on its own :o

thanks to @russss@chaos.social and others for reviewing the design before manufacturing, and catching multiple critical errors (half the USB signals were left out, plus the board could self-destruct if you asserted a certain pin…) I’m surprised this works at all really!
