Last week the LNP posted an AI-generated video of the QLD premier dancing on TikTok. The premier reacted by saying it was a turning point in our democracy. I don't know about you, but I feel like I've been reading that deepfakes would ruin democracy for 7+ years. Anyway, I wrote about political deepfakes and how they fit within the broader degraded information ecosystem in response.
