Last night I discovered people don't agree what #ukulele 'Canadian tuning' was/is, despite it having been taught in Canadian schools. You'd think there would be school books that gave a definitive answer. Some think it's aDF#B but linear ADF#B seems more likely; Low-A tuning, a tone higher than Low-G tuning which is popular on tenor ukuleles.
I've also learned that High-a is sometimes called "British tuning" though I don't know by whom.
