just had to fire my psychiatrist before we even really got started. found out he misgendered me during a call with my psychologist. when she corrected him, he didn&#39;t apologize. he got defensive and said he &quot;never talked about pronouns&quot; with me, like that somehow makes it ok?? also, I clearly stated to him during our first appointment that I am a trans woman, and have gender dysphoria. that&#39;s not a miscommunication. thats a provider who isn&#39;t safe for trans patients. and im not gonna spend my limited energy educating someone who should already know better. finding affirming mental healthcare is hard enough. we shouldn&#39;t also have to fight just to be seen correctly by the people that are supposed to help us. #TransHealthcare #AffirmingCare #TransCare
