given most of the recent Goings-On here on this side of the pond, i'm looking at moving my portfolio website and blog (currently hosted on a VPS on Vultr) off of US-based infrastructure i am aware that "there is no cloud, only someone else's computer", but i do not have direct access to bare metal in a non-five-eyes state. with that stated: does anyone have recommendations for a privacy-centric VPS service located outside of US jurisdiction? for context, i am an American trans journalist and graphic novelist who is more than comfortable with setting up a Linux webserver from scratch. literally just need somewhere i can give my readers updates on my work without possibly facing US-based anti-trans censorship in the future. (plz boost 4 reach!)

@piper@sunny.garden I have used Hostinger for domains and Wordpress hosting, but not for VPS services. There are other providers available: https://european-alternatives.eu/category/vps-virtual-private-server-hosters
