have they come up with a reasonably priced “dumb” phone with an eink display?

I haven’t seen any. My wife has a Minimal Phone, which is android, but heavily nerfed in what it can actually run. I can’t recommend it though until they fix the connectivity issues. It frequently has problems with wifi and bluetooth, also poor general cellular signal.
