It's actually even WORSE than you think: he's neither completely serious nor completely joking. He has delusions of self-awareness at best and thinks he's hilarious even though he has no idea what the joke he's making is. He's qualitatively the Australian version of Steven Crowder. Which is by far the worst thing I've ever said about an Australian person who ISN'T Tony Abbot.
