If you’re an amateur New York history nerd with a penchant for a particular mix of urbanism, civic infrastructure, and design, what perhaps lesser-known sights, museums, or activities would you suggest for a guy like that?

Bonus points if your suggestion has anything to do with transit infrastructure / maps, the Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, the ’39 and ’64 New York World’s Fairs, Robert Caro / Robert Moses / Jane Jacobs, etc etc.

@andymcmillan@xoxo.zone the Tenement Museum is my absolute favorite - worth seeing if they have a walking tour that may match urbanism/ civic infrastructure on currently! (The actual museum is still 11/10 stars, but more anthropological/ socioeconomic on life in the lower east side sorta thing) https://www.tenement.org
