Free advice for anyone else suffering from the soul-crushing burden of modern existence: Watch some Rick Steves travel videos. Seriously. I bet you haven't thought about that guy in a long time, but he's still out there doing his thing with his somewhat nerdy and entirely good natured mannerisms intact. Aspire to live a life as full as that guy's.

Funny aside: Many years ago, a friend told me how her boyfriend would consistently mix up the names Rick Steves with Rick James, leading to hilarious comments from him when making travel plans. ("Let's see what Rick James has to say about Amsterdam", etc.)
