This is a very interesting comparison for Australia 🇦🇺, which uses real-time petrol prices and Amber’s electricity prices, and makes the most of EV smart charging, to compare the running costs of popular combustion-engine cars with those of electric models

@burger_jaap@mastodon.social The Road User Charges cost me twice as much per km than the electricity. (Charge cost factored from what Powerco would pay me for the electricity if I put it into the grid instead of the EV)
