What's up with this recent commentary about the Fedi being the place for nuanced opinions? I may have nuanced opinions about some things, but I don't have a nuanced opinion about *having* nuanced opinions. I think it's sane! Not being able to understand or express nuance about at least some things is a failure to understand the complexity of the world, and if our public squares have no nuance, that's a recipe for disaster. Not to say that all my opinions are nuanced. 😂
