So there was this game called Tamashika that was nicknamed "troonslop" and called all sorts of shit by the online right and Twitter peanut gallery because of how aesthetically trashy it looked, but the "crusty anarchist subversive punk bro" left was gobbling it up. Then someone on Twitter pointed out that it was being funded and published by Harmony Korine (director of Kids, Gummo, etc.), who was at an IDF fundraiser in 2023 and the dev also is pro-Israel. Suddenly, everyone stopped pretending it was good.

In this regard leftoid gamers have one up on the chud gamers. Chud gamers just play games they hate to mald at them while at least the fucking libtards will spend a pittance on the horrible shit they claim to support. In the same vein, it's true that rightoids will not unconditionally support something that promotes their ideas unless it ticks a crapload of boxes. Marxism is literally a Leftist's religion with government being their church, leaders being their prophets and taxes being their tithing. You would never see Leftists abandon their prophets (think Clinton, Obama) the way MAGAites have abandoned Trump over the past few months. It's a blind faith commitment to be a Leftist. It's no surprise the super majority of them are atheists. You can't serve two masters.
