got an email today that they are shutting down DLive. when I first started streaming, it was on twitch and I got banned my first week in 2021. I then moved to DLive and built a whole modular synthesizer myself then made a record with it. this is now considered a “classic synthwave” record lol these sites hate us but it’s about the memories we made so just an honest thanks. it got me through a hard time and I forever thank my chat for that. I am a better man today for the convos and shitpoasting we did on there. not sure about streaming plans but it’s days like today that make me happy NCTV exist so thanks @matty we live in a bubble that if we tried to explain to most people they wouldn’t ever understand but I do so forever thanks for the memories chat

my first dLive nickname was Nate Higgers. That lasted about a week before they banned me. Then I became GoyTex to differentiate myself from Bigly Tex. Bye dLive, don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

Dlive gutted their site to appease the filthy jews, eliminating any content discovery features, so of course they died. I got the impression they were entirely clueless about cultural issues. They went from total free speech to zero tolerance on a dime, banning almost everyone who was on the ADL hitlist. At which point anyone new with vanilla enough content is going to go on Youtube, because more people.
