WTF LibreWolf?? I saw this just now, it wasn't there earlier today. Seriously, no one asked for this. I certainly didn't. This is skeevy at best. If I want a VPN I'll spin up my own, that I control and trust. This just feels like Mozilla's money-grab shit is infecting what was the only truly good web browser left.
Edit: Dialing back my surprise and alarm a bit, this is probably just something missed in the latest build like the Perplexity thing a while back. Still, it's concerning to me that I saw it, screenshot it, posted about it, and two hours later it disappears completely and references to it in about:config are locked. I didn't update my LibreWolf package (I was driving home from work and then cooking dinner) so I still don't know what the fuck is going on.

@kaidenshi No, not @mozilla From their website footer "LibreWolf is not affiliated with Mozilla". (It's just based on their code, isn't Open Source great)? https://librewolf.net/

@kaidenshi : this is very strange because I don’t have it myself, I cannot find any announcement about it (not on the website, not on @librewolf ) and I can’t find a commit referencing a VPN.

@kaidenshi Isn’t it just the Mozilla VPN that wasn’t removed properly by LibreWolf?

@kaidenshi Is this by any chance the LibreWolf port for OpenBSD by Leah?
