My soon to be mother in law pointing to a triple decker next to a commercial building: Look how close they’re! There’s no space in between! Me: people need homes to live and we’re in pretty dense urban area and also close to train station. She: there need to be 10 ft between them. Me: that’s basically half of the triple decker! Fewer people could live here if there’s so much space wasted. She: people are forced to live in there. Me: nobody is forced to live in the city. Boston homes are expensive because people want to live here. She: no people are forced to live here, in tight little spaces in the city. — What the freaking conspiracy theory is that??? She lives in Idaho, go figure 🙄
