so i've looked into the finances again - collecting all the numbers from donations and expenses, and here are some results for 2025 for mastodon instances: sonomu.club: -1,473.25 € (HOSTING) +1,353.04 € (DONATIONS) toot.si: -1,309.16 € (HOSTING) + 682.00 € (DONATIONS) djs.social: -550.00 € (HOSTING) +396.69 € (DONATIONS) gmajna.social -139.08 € (HOSTING) (donation possibility has not yet been setup) The fallout is about 1,050.00 €. This is much better than last few years, especially sonomu.club possee has made some nice contributions. But the expense on sonomu will get much higher from march onwards.
