Come to think of it, I could ask the same question about my desktop computer! I'd really rather that more of the ports were in the front. The long-term connections can be in the back, fine. But I only have two USB ports in the front. I have to use one for my wireless mouse dongle, because the mouse acts funny when the dongle is in the back. Lags. And I use the other one for whatever flash drive I'm using, or my webcam, or to connect my cell phone for various purposes. It's kind of a pain in the ass!
