I'm in the process of getting a free Linux shell on a server. You enter your preferred username, and also an email address you already have, on a website. You get back a token in an email that you write on a postcard and physically post to the person. Really cool 😃 And if everything goes as planned I'm getting an email back in a few days with information how to access the shell. I'll probably mostly use it for an IRC-bot.
