Just switched my main work machine to lovely & boring old Debian.
Was on Manjaro for a while which was super nice, but got tired of workarounds for important stuff like OBS plugins. And the founder drama gave me the heebie-jeebies.
What I like about distro-hopping is you learn cool stuff every time. Like because of Manjaro, I now can’t live without a fancy Zsh setup. I got Oh My Zsh! on the case 🫡

Also changed my Steam Deck from Bazzite back to lovely & boring old SteamOS. GNOME is actually delicious. Especially for touch screens — hence the Bazzite. But I’ve been trying to get a Steam Deck VJ setup going for months, and I was 99% there (OBS + P5LIVE). The morning of my regular VJ gig, I decide to test Bazzite with my projector. Bazzite said NOPE. So I say NOPE to YOU, Bazzite. For now. You enticing little minx.
