@mirlo This was a great read. I concur with so much of it. The music "industry" is such a convoluted mess... but if one takes a few steps back, they're able to see the fundamental absurdity with trying to equate self expression through music with assigning some monetary value to it based on $factors. I have a plan to make things more equitable for artists. It's ultra grassroots and requires a lot of courage (and likely a good legal team) but I know it's worth it in the end. Cheers to you!
