@haubles I know y'all are very busy, but if a shrinking userbase is actually considered a problem (IMO it's fair to go either way on that) then what would actually be interesting is to see some stats on who is leaving, plus what retention is like for new users right now. Maybe throw in some stats about racist harassment or moderation actions in general while we're at it? The opposite of cherry-picking anecdotes to claim that the real problem with the fediverse happens to be the things that annoy you personally (while scrupulously avoiding mention of the much more serious racism problem) would be a discussion of actual data relevant to these questions.
