@dreid all the archives of Peter Neumann’s RISKS digest are surely still available at acm.org — the Therac-25 was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what can go wrong even with the best methods in software engineering practice. Wonder what his take is on the utterly non-deterministic AI world …?
