@feditips@mstdn.social This looks great, thanks so much for all the work you put in to the fediverse community. One little niggle, I think comparing Friendica to FB sets people up for disappointment when they try it, rather than allowing them to evaluate it on its own merits. Maybe there was more equivalence at one time, but these days neither the feature set nor the UI of FB is much like Friendica. It's more akin to a federated LiveJournal or WordPress.

If I started with your website fedi.tips I would have saved myself some consternation (toots, instances, edit images), but figuring it out also meant I spent a lot of time interacting with people and toots. Win/Win either way. Definitely recommend for those who want to spend less time floundering. #MastodonNewbieTips
