DC recently got a Total Wine store, and the first time I went there I couldn’t help thinking of the Dril candles post when I looked at pricing for a few things. They’ve updated their pricing a bit since then, but the economics still don’t make enough sense. (Photos are old/new pairs in that order)

I don’t have a previous photo for this one, but why would anybody buy the 750 when they could get 33% more while paying only 5% more? (The handle is the best deal, but we don’t go through it quickly enough to pay for that).
