anyone have opinions on cheap (used or new) bench power supplies? for reference my real budget is literally $0 but i can stretch that up to at absolute most $200 by cutting into other expenses.
my whole goal here is to make DC power something i don't have to think about while working on my testbench so a DIY solution is counterproductive unless there's something much more polished than i'm aware of

@leo there's DPS5005 (etc) power uspplies on aliexpress for not that much, they can be flashed with custom firmware if needed: https://johan.kanflo.com/hacking-the-dps5005/ only downside is, they use screw terminals for AC input & DC output

@leo Is there a hack- and/or makerspace nearby? They're quite likely to let you use theirs on-location and will ask you interesting questions about your project ;)
