k, so, i usually dont do these but a friend of mine, Alyssa, 19 years old, and her partner, reside in a country in the Middle East where it is illegal to be queer. they have had the misfortune of going to jail for being queer and have been prosecuted with the crime of - well, you can guess what, citing it would be a slur. we have opened a fundraiser for their legal fees in the hope we can defend them and not let go to prison. you know, with all the stuff that happens in jail and whatnot the retainer should be around the equivalent of €200 (Euros) for each person so around €400 in total (defenses have to be separate). any extra funds that they have left will be put into moving into a better place.
