@onuryasar @Tarnport well, that's not true everywhere in Italy: in Liguria you can dip a focaccia (with salt and full of olive oil) in a cappuccino and feel approved by others (but other Italians can be horrified by this sight) (I love it!)

@onuryasar @Tarnport I believe this falls into the xenophobia category. Bakeries in Italy have savory and sweet snacks that can be served at any hour. We even pizza shops selling squared pieces thicker than the round pizza. These shops are usually next to schools or even summer peddlers on the beach. So it's absolutely not true. What I am sadly noticing instead is an increasing intolerance towards foreigners. People feel the need to nag foreigners for nothing. Or to make jokes about them 😡
