i just want to say, as an educator this is such a hard time i am torn every day between helping my students square up to all that is going on in their world while also recognizing that they are just kids, and some of them are only barely hanging on emotionally these days. they are scared and overwhelmed much of the time thinking about reading the geneva conventions in government class today but fuck! we are all under the shadow of existential threat
