ordered a tiny custom painting of a pet as a gift for a friend, from an artist who offers custom pet paintings from photos. they sent me pictures of the finished painting... and, reader, it does not look like the pet, except for the colours. i've said nothing. might just try to re-sell it for little money. i genuinely cannot gift it as the animal is not recognisable. i know this sounds like i fell for a scam, but tbh i think the artist was just super unsuccessful this time.
