Ski (the mostly white cat in the back) has a hard time with other cats. She likes her alone quiet time. When Mandalena died, Ski was devastated, since Mandalena knew to respect Ski's space.
Now, after two months with only the two of them in the house (down from a peak of 8), Ski and Buffy are getting along well, playing together, grooming each other, sleeping together. We're happy for them.

@jbqueru I just said goodbye to my beautiful Zina, who was 19 when she passed February 20th of this year. We had eight cats, a wonderfully chaotic household, for over 20 years. Savor this time with these two. It is too quiet in the house and I am still grieving. I won't adopt again until I relocate in July to the east coast but it's excruciatingly empty without my furry soulmates. 💔
