In a reply earlier I said I lived through the Cuban Missile crisis and began to think. One of the major differences between then and now is that in 1962, all the world leaders involved had served under fire, MacMillan in the trenches, JFK in the Pacific and the Soviets on the Eastern front. They knew war intimately and had no illusions as to what it would mean. Trump is a coward as are most of his advisers who avoided the Draft, they have no idea what they are playing with and it shows.
